A recording using the isolating xy capsule microphone on my throat whilst drinking a hot liquid (which causes the throat muscles to expand) giving this characteristic swallow/gulp noise.
Gulping, drinking water, i think i was holding the sound recorder to my throat. The sound was recorded in my house in florida, using a sony ic recorder, processed in fl studio to remove noise.
A recording of a recording as it turns out. Throughout different tropical countries you can often hear this being played out of buildings quite loudly and constantly. It is the sound of swallows who are known to make valuable nests out of their saliva. This hardened saliva is quite valuable and so this recording is often used to attract swallows in to nest in buildings. In my room opened up audacity grabbing my blue yeti mic and my cup of water and put my mic against my neck and starting recording. Though if you use this sound can you please tell what its gonna be used for. I would very much, like to know.
I needed a sound of someone swallowing nervously, and i couldn't find one that worked, so i recorded my own. It's not perfect as it was recorded just with my crappy headset, but it did the job. Hope someone else can find some use for it! :).
